The Importance of Change
Change is something many people seem to have a hard time doing. Just like the phrase, " changes comes with action", and sometimes change is hard. But how do we change ourselves when are are afraid of change? Personally, I can say that I used to be someone who was afraid of change. I just had an undying fear of "This is how I am, so why should I change?, basically I felt by changing myself, I would be losing myself because this is how I have been for my entire life.
For example, I have a short temper and sometimes my anger and attitudes when mad can get the best of me, I know deep down that this is something that needs to change because for one, this can affect relationships I make with people and/or other great opportunities that I may come across in the near future, but then again change is hard just like everything else in life is. But it just got to the point where I grew sick and tired of being the way I was that I decided to change, though I'm still working on this everyday, I do feel good knowing that I am doing something to better myself.
People shouldn't be afraid of change, but they should embrace change. Without change many people and even events in history would have never occurred, so people should start to evaluate their lives now and themselves and anything that needs changing, get on it.
Here are some ways to start change:
1.) Realize what you want to change and why? Look into what it really means to change this certain thing and what the outcomes can be.
2.) Write a list of things you would like to change and how it will better yourself.
3.) Everyday try and change one thing on your list, and see how good it makes you feel!
