Book to read this month: Make Him Look Good by: Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez
Good morning my fellow Starr readers, what better way to kick off and start your 2015 year by reading a new book. Personally, I have always enjoyed reading a good book, because while reading my mind is able to go to another place I may never get to go to in life, or it can be very therapeutic to read sometimes, because it's just you and the book.
A book I am currently reading at the moment is by Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez, and its called, " Make Him Look Good", which basically is about six women and their relationships with one charismatic man...Ricky Biscayne. Ricky Biscayne is a sexy Latin singing sensation who has topped the charts and taken the pop world by storm. He's also stormed into the lives and dreams of the women who orbit him:
Milan, Ricky's new publicist, smart as a whip and chubby as only a girl who still lives at home with her parents can be.
Geneva, Milan's sister, as lean and chic as Milan is not, her club G promises to be Miami's hottest new thing.
Jasminka, Ricky's gorgeous Serbian model wife, who might finally eat something now that she's pregnant.
Irene, a fighter fighter whose high-school romance with Ricky was the last love in her life; currently she's seeking out an existence for herself and her daughter, Sophia.
Jill Sanchez, an omnivorous media-maniac Latina star who has crossed over from CDs to perfume, clothes, and movies.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a lot of twists and turns in books, or like a lot of drama. I currently am still readings this books, but for anyone who is interested, check amazon.com, or borders.com, or your local libraries.
